About Sarah
Sarah began riding at Cash Lovell Stables at the age of 4.  She was hooked from day one!  Her first show was a winter tournament at age 5 and she won a blue ribbon on a WC Morgan named Kojak.  She couldn’t get enough of riding and showing.  After 3 years in the academy program, at age 8, Sarah told her mother that if she got a horse when she was 9 then she would win a World’s Championship when she was 11.  Well, she got that horse just before her 9th birthday, a gorgeous mare named CH Much More Radiant.  Sarah and “Dottie” debuted at JD Massey the following month, had an undefeated season in Walk & Trot Pleasure and went on to become the World’s Champion of Champions in 8-and-Under Walk & Trot Equitation that August of 2005.

Sarah’s next horse was a sweet and beautiful mare named I Believe I Can Fly.  Sarah and “Skye” had a blast in their 5-gaited pony and pleasure pony classes and learned a lot from each other.  Sarah next decided to take on the challenge of equitation.  Her grandmother surprised her with CH Hayden Fox at Raleigh Spring Premiere in 2009.  Sarah and “Fox” loved the thrill of pattern classes and won many top ribbons together.  Fox passed away last summer and Sarah still misses her sweet boy.  Accepting the top high points ribbon for Pleasure Equitation at the recent ASAC convention was a bittersweet moment for her.

Sarah is currently just enjoying riding and waiting to meet her next equine challenge.  She’s hoping for something a little bit wild, a little bit crazy, but sweet as can be in the stall.

In the meantime, look for her catch riding when she can and hanging out with her current love, “Scrappy.”

Sarah is a straight A student and aspires to be a Veterinarian.  She enjoys playing field hockey, practicing piano and blogging.  She is looking forward to getting her driver’s license in March 2012!
