For more than 20 years, Parker Nash Lovell, and her husband, Cash Lovell, have operated CLS. Parker is a former investigative newspaper reporter who worked with Pulitzer Prize winning papers such as The Orlando Sentinel and The Charlotte Observer. She earned her Master’s Degree in Journalism from Columbia University in the City of New York. She earned undergraduate degrees in Business Management and Communications from Averett University in Danville, Va.
Parker’s passion is the CLS Riding Academy, in which people of all ages are introduced to riding in a safe, structured, family-oriented environment. Under her care, the CLS Riding Academy has grown into a one of the largest, most successful riding academies in the country – one that is routinely singled-out for excellence by the American Saddlebred Horse Association (ASHA).
Parker serves on the ASHA’s National Youth Committee, is a member of the United Professional Horseman’s Association, and the United States Equestrian Federation. Parker grew up riding, showing and teaching all disciplines of riding. She and Cash have a daughter, Cashlyn, who also rides and shows.
