Our Academy
Team ProgramCash Lovell Stables offers the largest and finest Academy Program in North Carolina. Our Academy Program is for those riders who are interested in competing in North Carolina, Virginia and in other competitions around the nation.
Cash Lovell is known for helping young (and adult) riders reach their potential and develop the highest level of horsemanship. Our instructors have the training and experience to guide riders into the higher levels of our sport. We are proud that we not only teach great riders, but compassion for these great animals, sportsmanship and character.

Academy Team Members Learn to Compete on a National Level Without Having to Purchase a Show Horse
Cash Lovell Stables provides school horses for all of our Academy Team members so riders can compete without having to buy their own horse. CLS Academy Team members experience the excitement of competing in horse shows and have the opportunity to gain confidence in the show ring. Academy Team members learn the fundamentals of showing including how to dress for a horse show, prepare a kaboodle, prepare for competition and so much more. Each year, several of our Academy Team members make the transition up to Show Rider and purchase their own horse for national and world competitions.
Academy Nationals -
Academy Nationals is the highlight of the Academy Show Season. Academy Riders from all over the nation come together to compete in the spirit of sportsmanship and giving back to the community. Money from Academy Nationals goes to St. Jude Children's Hospital. Cash Lovell Stables is proud to support Academy Nationals and our advanced Academy riders who participate in this event.
Our Academy Nationals Team forms late in the show season. If you are a CLS rider, talk to your trainer about participating in this incredible show!
